About Giovanne Schachere & Mysti's Adult & Family Services
Giovanne D. Schachere is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mysti's Adult & Family Services — a community-based organization built from personal loss, lived experience, and an unwavering belief that every person deserves dignity, stability, and a real chance at independence.
Founded in honor of his late mother, Mysti Bluee, who passed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization has grown from a deeply personal mission into one of the fastest-growing field-based social services organizations across California and Washington State. Mysti's delivers housing support, reentry programs, Enhanced Care Management (ECM), recuperative care, and family case assistance to individuals facing homelessness, incarceration, and behavioral health challenges.
Operating across multiple counties in both states — including Los Angeles, Monterey, Contra Costa, Santa Cruz, King, Snohomish, Yakima, and Clark — Mysti's partners with managed care organizations, county agencies, and health plans to provide wraparound services that go far beyond temporary relief. The organization's Housing First philosophy treats stable housing not as a reward, but as a foundation — from which employment, health, and long-term self-sufficiency can follow.
Schachere holds a Master's degree in Human Services from Capella University and has been recognized by the State of California through the Providing Access and Transforming Health (PATH) initiative. His leadership and the organization's impact have been covered by AP News, Yahoo Finance, Business Insider, SF Weekly, LA Weekly, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Washington Times, and more.
