She was an actress. A trucker. A justice warrior. A mother. And five years ago today, the world went dim without her.
On July 22, 2020, in the thick of COVID’s storm, I lost my mother — Mysti Bluee. But what we lost in her presence, we’ve gained in purpose.
In this anniversary tribute, I honor her life, her legacy, and the light she left behind.
From her roles in Miles Away, Hunter Gatherer, and The Council, to the semi-truck routes she drove with pride — Mysti was never just one thing.
She was everything.
